Dr. Robert Simon is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with over 27 years of experience in medicine. He has performed many different types of surgeries in virtually all areas of orthopedic surgery. Specializing in General orthopedic surgery, Spinal surgery, Sports medicine and surgery, Hand surgery, Joint replacement, Pediatric orthopedics, Foot and ankle Surgery, and Trauma surgery.

Dr. Robert Simon grew up in Michigan. He is a graduate of Wayne state University School of Medicine and the orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  After graduating from residency in 1994 (then Major Simon) was an active-duty orthopedic surgeon in the United States Air Force.

Following military service, Montgomery, Alabama was home until 1997 when he moved to South Florida. Dr. Simon has been practicing in the South Florida area ever since.

Dr. Simon supplemented his spine surgery experience in residency with significant additional study in the fields of minimally invasive spinal surgery, less invasive techniques for fusion and decompression, techniques for disc replacement and nonoperative treatment of the spine.

He is a member of the North American Spine Society and keeps up with trends in spinal surgery.
